「A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall.」

「We had a very nice stay for two nights. Both pools are excellent, staff are very friendly, the room was clean and had modern amenities. Breakfast was excellent however, we had lunch at the hotel one day and it was only okay. There are a few monkeys around the property however, most never come into the actual hotel. However, the grounds and overall maintenance do not reflect the level expected from a Relais & Châteaux or Michelin Key property. There were dry leaves and weeds throughout the territory, and several trees appeared infested or dying. 「We had an amazing stay at hotel Dormero. The hotels right in front of the beach which made it very convenient for us to go around swimming and other beach activities which were nearby. The room itself was kept spotless with daily housekeeping. The staff were very nice and polite. We even had the opportunity to celebrate new years with the staff and eat amazing food. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend. 」

「This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony.
