「Television was down. They had to replace a new one after inspection. It took a while to complete this. Our room was too close to the kitchen. The noise was transferred through the venting system. That needs to be improved.」

「The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. 」

「3泊しました！ 最初の2泊は冷房がないとは知らずで 暑くて朝まで寝れず ファンも気休めレベル 最終日は部屋が空いたので 1000ルピー追加で払ってACのある部屋へ　 ファンもめっちゃ回るしなんで快適な！ テラス、リビング、キッチン、冷蔵庫は共有 水は初日に小さいのを1本くれました^_^ 水売ってます！ アメニティは0 タオルは交換すると150ルピーかかります！ 家族で経営してるのか みなさんとてもフレンドリーでした^_^」

About 10 minutes walk to beach! Only downside is that there is no bar! In saying that there are plenty of places nearby that have beer! Breakfast was excellent!! Would definitely stay here again 」

「 This is typical old Hotel. The building is old and the technology (water, electricity ) is old, but all works. Situation in the city is excellent; near centrum, on the beach. Good bed to sleep and the sound of waves is soothing. Good beakfast and the limits from food allergy were well taken into account. And also very early mornig breakfast when needed was possible. We liked. 」

「For us 33 Lake Terrace was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location at the lake is so peaceful and beautiful - simply amazing. On top of this Mr Panduka and the entire staff were exceptional, very discreet but always available and just very nice. 「Super location for us, 2 miles outside of Hikkaduwa on a quiet lagoon. Ideal if you wanted to travel around the local area or near enough by tuk tuk to the beach. Lovely pool which was cleaned regularly and surrounded by trees which you could see many local birds and animals from. Friendly staff. Great food. Staff helped arrange a rental scooter for us.」

「I am Japanese. I was able to make some very good memories at Hikkaduwa. The hostel is clean and close to the beach and restaurants. I also liked the friendly staff. There is also a barber shop on site. I also got a haircut. Skills are high. thank you. I will stay this place again next time. Don't tell the Japanese people.」
