「Perfect for a proper Anfield experience. A stone’s throw from Anfield, makes game day really easy and fun (can be a bit difficult getting a taxi back to downtown Liverpool after the game). Pub is open and frequented by lots of locals on game day (before and after the game). Great hospitality, continental breakfast got the job done. Will definitely come back for my next LFC match. 」

「Lovely owners, nice and clean hotel in all areas. The room we got was great, had a bit of work done on it. We stayed in this same hotel last year and we enjoyed it then. The price was very reasonable for the time of year (July). Will definitely be back!」

「My friend and I stayed here this weekend due to attending a festival nearby. The stable rooms are absolutely lovely, so comfortable, beautiful bathroom and lovely bed! We even had horses in stables next to us which was a lovely view to wake up too. The self serve breakfast room was so cute and had everything you could really ask for including fresh fruit, milk, breads and pastries. Will be returning with my partner for sure!」

「Amazing stay at the Valdene. The member of staff (I can’t remember his name) couldn’t have done enough for us or any other guests at the hotel, went out his way to be as helpful and accommodating. Pre ordered breakfast one morning for only £14 for two of us, food and service was once again amazing. Only niggle is I was a little too tall for the beds however, still slept well. Thank you for an amazing stay 」

「The team here are lovely and the owner is really helpful.The downstairs bar is great fun as well. Rooms really clean and comfy beds. Definitely staying here again.Non smoking rooms is a massive bonus 」
