"We arrived to check in around 7 PM the front door was locked so we went around to side door. No one was present in the lobby, it said to call a number to check in but phone had no service and no Wi-Fi available so we literally had to use the phone behind the counter to be told we have to walk across the street to a neighboring hotel to check in. The guy behind the counter was not too friendly and seemed to complain about calls and checking in. We finally arrived to our room to find dirty wine cup on the table, the shower had hair in it and there weren’t enough towels so we had to wait til the morning to get an extra towel. Did not sleep well due to the loud traffic noise all night. The coffee machine didn’t even work properly. Very disappointed."

"The Inn at Death Valley is certainly an Oasis in the Desert. The grounds are beautiful with water running through it, lush palm trees, beautiful pool and very comfortable suites. Highly recommend staying here."

"Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, a very good deal for the price. The restaurant was closed two of the days I was there which was disappointing. Otherwise I enjoyed it."

"Very uncaring staff. No directions to room. Asked to be close and on ground floor. Gave me room on second floor and had to walk half the length of the building after finding the building me room was in. Staff did not even inform me if there was an elevator. "

"Nice room and hot tub"

"Our room was at the far end of the hallway on the ground floor, away from the casino (and the not so subtle smell of old, burnt cigarettes), so it was nice and quiet for my early to bed early to rise travel companion and I. Everything was nice and clean, the service staff pleasant and helpful. Only two minor issues were (1) lighting was somewhat inadequate and (2) no fan in the bathroom. On-site meal choices (the steakhouse and Denny’s under the same roof) made for really convenient meal options for our Death Valley experience."
