DO NOT STAY HERE. The other reviews on google are so all over the place cus they have off main property location they will send you to that is down a long winding dangerous road. They will claim, you picked that room type, but since they don't list this issue online, how could one pick this horrible location. Save yourself the hassle and pick somewhere else to stay. The staff was very kind, but its the owner that is the issue. All the negative things the other 1 star reviews have said is true. The room walls are so thin it sounds like people are in the room WITH you. And there is something like a rat or ferret living on the roof that I can hear all night long (gross) The pool is full of algae, and the nice pool is on the owners personal property, the food is ok at best.... The view is spectacular, but that's the only 5 star thing about this place.

This property was excellent. We were greeted and shown the property as soon as we arrived. The staff was friendly, the views were AMAZING, the rooms were cleaned daily, the included breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here!

The setting is wonderful, the views breathtaking and the bed was really comfortable. The general ambience is pretty dilapidated which is charming… but some paint and maintenance wouldn’t go amiss and the room and bathroom facilities are very basic and haven’t been updated in decades. The breakfast was adequate, though there was no fruit juice and the coffee was pretty undrnkable. Would we return? Yes! The staff were fun, the vibe was shabby chic.

Breakfast was amazing and so was the view!! I just needed a place to skeep and shower and the grounds blew me away. The owner let us use his infinity pool and you can see all of Soufrie (i think i spelled it wrong) the people were amazing and friendly and super helpful.

The view is spectacular. Our first room was small but clean and adequate. We were then upgraded to a large beautiful room. The staff were excellent, they go home at 5, then the security are around to help if needed. The pool was terrific. The restaurant on site is not affiliated but a voucher is given for breakfast. Breakfast was great but dinner needed improvement. We had a great experience overall.

The property is beautiful and the views are amazing but the rooms and amenities need to be significantly improved. The reception area looked run down, the pools which were the main reason for booking are not safe to swim in because they are dirty. The room needs major updating work. On the plus side the food at the restaurant was excellent; the chef and staff very pleasant and professional.

We stayed 4 nights at La Haut and it was simply wonderful. So private and quiet, the plantation style buildings and main house are beautiful, but the grounds and views are exquisite. All staff were helpful and friendly. The infinity pool was lovely, with panoramic vistas that are just breathtaking! The restaurant on the property was also very good. Delicious food, good service, and also incredible views. Comfortable 4 post bed, all conveniences in room, plus an amazing deck overlooking the Pitons from your own hammock. We will definitely be back. If you are looking for a romantic getaway that is unique from a traditional hotel experience, this is the place.

Amenities not as described (landscaping staff housed below our room; only one pool available; no fresh fruit plate in room every day; on site restaurant was cash only; did not always have hot water for showers; in room safe was broken and did not work; could have been cleaner; wifi was spotty). Did not get the room we booked for our first night (had to move to another room for rest of our stay). Check in process was confusing and lengthy. The infinity pool and views were great! Owner and staff were very friendly.

Excellent views; relaxing/peaceful location

It was a great location, easy to find, and peaceful. It is just up the hill from Soufriere. Resort has amazing views and friendly staff. The restaurant serves great food. Cottage was nice and bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend you have a rental car. Some of the property grounds were run down but staff was working on that while we were there.

STAY AWAY! This place is nasty, dusty, dirty, old, dilapidated and filthy. Tye bathroom was disgusting and moldy and the towels had brown stains. The entrance to the room was a busted double door that was secured only by a latch and from outside you can literally see inside the room through the spaces in the door. The entire premises is just nasty and unkempt. We didn’t even unpack our bags, we called Expedia immediately and they found us another hotel to stay.

We had a great stay at La Haut. The views of the the town and the Pitons from the property are amazing. The staff was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We would definitely come again.

When we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation, then the property itself looks like it is in disrepair, the pool is about a kilometre or more downhill from the rooms and at the owners house. Overall the property has a lot of potential, like if you could book the owners house itself that might be worth it, the staff were nice. I will not go back.

The view from the pool and restaurant were incredible and the staff at the resort were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and willing to support your trip. However, the rooms were not clean and extremely sparse for the price paid.
