"On the outside looking in, the resort is beautiful. However, there is so much room for improvement when it comes to the overall cleanliness, support, staff friendliness, and food. Our rooms were only cleaned once during a 4 night/3 day stay; despite multiple requests to have the rooms cleaned. Support staff and housekeeping are unavailable after 11 PM. The food was very mediocre, and options are limited. The water in the showers stopped working on the second day. Housekeeping ran out of washcloths and towels. And finally, some of the bartending staff members were extremely rude and impatient. Overall, Curacao is a beautiful country, and I would highly recommend that everyone visit. However, based on my experience, this particular resort might not be the best option. I traveled with a party of 8 females for my birthday, and we were all disappointed with the resort stay and staff. "

"IL Mare is the private section for all the beach bungalows. The rest of the resort is not allowed over there. It has 24 hour butler service. It was the most amazing trip we’ve taken. The shoreline is a reef and full of tropical fish for snorkeling. The bartenders and butlers were amazing over there. This is a little bit smaller of a resort and was so relaxing and chilled out. If you want a crazy 24 hour party, this is not the resort for you. There was always activity, but you could go and sit and relax and have it quiet around you any time of day. so much food and drink options. We felt we needed to stay more than one week so we could experience all the different food on the menu. If you’re going to this resort, spend the money and stay in the bungalows. It is worth every single penny. You will leave with absolutely no regret. 24hr room service. We rented a car and drove into the downtown. Was easy. ABC rentals dropped the car off right in the parking lot for us and picked it up from there. We literally had nothing to worry about the entire week. The worst part about this resort is having to leave at the end of your vacation. It was heartbreaking to leave because we had the best time."

"We enjoyed our stay. There are two beaches. Both very lovely and the water is crystal clear. The Salty Iguana by the beach had great food and drinks. Seem to be enough chairs for everyone both by the beach and pools. The only problem we had was they didn’t clean the room the last two days. We had to call for clean towels and to have the trash emptied. Otherwise a great place to stay."

"Beautiful beach with access to two large pools and a waterpark. The Barbecue and Turkish restaurants were our favorite. We always ate at the 6pm sitting and never had an issue with service or the food being cold. All staff were super friendly and accommodating. Would recommend and stay there again in the future:)"

"Nice place, very spacious apartment. The bad part is that there is no parking lot, they only have 2 spots available for all guests and it’s on the street anyway, the area is super busy and hard to find a spot close by to park. The location is walkway to downtown and there are plenty options of restaurants close besides the 2 at the hotel complex. "

"The overall vibe of the hotel and location was perfect. Very friendly staff and nice welcoming gifts and details. The only thing I missed was a TV in the room but I understood afterwards that it is part of the concept of the hotel. And although my room said to be partially ocean view, this was a minimum but on the otherhand really enjoyed the lounge areas by the pool and sea."
