「All staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel was in good condition and clean. For a hotel all meal and drink prices were reasonable. Ideally placed for a walk along one of the best beaches in Norfolk and very short drive into G Yarmouth or Lowestoft. The new children’s water fun area is brilliant for the little ones and free.」

「When we arrived the owners came to great us. Very friendly, explained everything very well. Room was perfect with a lovely view. Bed comfortable, breakfast was amazing and great selection. Loved the fan on the wall. Only bad thing i would say is upgrade the pillows, uncomfortable, even with 2. Room was hot even with the fan on the wall. 」

「We had an excellent stay thank you. My only criticism is the new rooms are directly on the car park so can be a little noisy with people coming and going. However, we look forward to returning. 」

「A great place to stay in Lowestoft. Excellent value for money. We had the Deluxe room and it was worth every penny. Spacious, comfortable bed, super clean bathroom, tea and coffee. I am a well travelled person and this was super comfortable. The view was amazing, breakfast over the road and free on-road parking. Perfect. The hosts were super kind to make us comfortable with check in and out. A lovely visit to Lowestoft. 」

「Quirkily excellent. On arrival it is not obviously a hotel since it says it is a retreat for ex services. But they do operate as an hotel, so that is the first step. Then you find it to be full of memorabilia for all branches of the service, good breakfast though not till 8am, no evening meals, but short walks bring you to good food.」
