Kinnitty Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent stay, really enjoyed the family hospitality experience. Upgraded bedrooms were stunning"
Maldron Hotel Portlaoise

The Maltings
10/10 Excellent
"Top notch! I had a pleasant stay here. Mike was very easy to get hold of and very accommodating. The place was very clean and has everything you need for your stay. The bed was very comfortable, just what I need. I didn’t realize the building was next to a train track/station, but nevertheless, it didn’t bother me as I have a bad hearing, lol. I will certainly book here again next time I’m in town. Thank you Mike! Thank you for everything!"
Tullamore Court Hotel
8/10 Good
"I have stayed at Tullamore Court quite a few times over the last 5 years. This year it was good, but a couple of things were annoying. I paid for a late check-out until 2 pm and was snoozing when I got a knock on the door from housekeeping to clean the room! I explained I had a late check-out; the lady checked her list and apologised, but I was awake then and decided to leave at 1030 am- so a waste of money paying for that. The breakfast: again, I paid for this, but it was not on their breakfast list, so it had to be checked with reception, whilst I waited around to get the OK to eat! I definitely think they let themselves down this year and I wasted money."
The Malt Store
8/10 Good
"There was a lot of messages to read and i found the automated "virtual" check in and check out a bit clunky and unintuitive. I had to phone recepgion for help with both processes. I prechecked in and wojld have benefitted from a confirmation stating my key would be waiting. Coffee machine but no coffee. Post the WiFi and password more prominently"
Midlands Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel but the complimentary water near the lift was horrible. Had to pay €22 euro for car parking which we didn’t know about. Would be better if included in the pricing. Other than that was a pleasant stay."
Dooly's Hotel
8/10 Good
"It's a decent place to stay. The staff is great. Just aging and so many little details in poor condition. And now this isn't the hotels fault per say but very noisy. Walls were paper thin and could hear other rooms talking and TV playing. Heater was on in my bathroom and the knob was broken so couldn't turn it off."
