"Everything about my stay at the Valhalla Hotel was excellent. This hotel has been a mainstay in Thunder Bay for many years, but I am impressed by their recent upgrades and efforts to make the visitor experience enjoyable. The staff were very helpful, even giving me an extra hour to check out without a fee (though a longer extension would require a fee). The restaurant, Skal, features interesting Finnish/Scandinavian cuisine along with standard fare. My Vegan Breakfast Burrito was superb. All around great."
