"The property is located perfectly for glacier lagoon and diamond beach. The thermal spas, sauna, and view of the glacier from the property are outstanding. The restaurant is quite good and the breakfast buffet is excellent/worth the money. The bar and lounge areas are really nice/tasteful. Like most hotels in Iceland, the rooms are not air conditioned...so the room was very hot in early September. They offered us a fan. The rooms are very small. You are paying for the amenities and proximity in my opinion!"

"Wonderful oasis in a stark landscape. We stayed here so we could visit the glacier lagoon. We met some nice fellow travelers at the happy hour. Breakfast spread is impressive. Dinner is expensive. Charcuterie at bar was delicious!!"

"The room was clean with a nice view of the coastal area with grazing sheep just outside. The food at the restaurant was top notch and locally sourced. The outside of the guesthouse was eclectic with a main check in and housing area with a connected dining area, and a long building with several rooms as well as some newer looking separate cabins. We stayed in the long building in a triple that had 3 twin beds. The room was clean and everything worked well. The people that worked there were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. I thought that it was a value considering the prices that rooms on this part of Iceland go for."

"PROS: we booked a standard room which was spacious enough for two people. Very clean. Easy check-in. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook and included GREAT coffee. Comfortable beds. CONS: Walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbors clearly. Shower is very small - my partner is 6'4" and had a hard time. Room was very warm even with the heat turned down to the lowest setting. Overall good stay, but on the pricier side."

"The apartment was spotless, and the check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. Plus, we had to drive a few miles on a gravel road to get there, which added a bit of adventure. The view was also lovely!"
