"The room was nice. It was clean and smelled fresh and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It would have been nice if all the doors were accessible with the key card as the rear parking required a walk around the building to gain access. Also, it would have been nice to see the coffee and breakfast area available earlier than it was but I guess that I tend to be a early riser. Generally it was a great place to stay as I found it convenient for walking into town to enjoy dining, shopping and entertainment. The building did seem a bit run down but not horrible by any description. I would stay there again in the future."

"This is an excellent and fun place to stay for the price. It’s designed to be an affordable family place with an outdoor fire pit right on the lake. It’s not the Ritz…it’s not a luxury resort. It’s a perfect place in a great location that everyone can afford. We have been here before and will return. Love Solbakken Resort!"

"For being an older drive-up motor inn our room was very clean and well maintained. Linens were not drabby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was " ok." It had mostly prepackaged items, which I feel is safe."
