「Everything would be a five star if the rooms would of had couches or an oversized chair」

「When I arrived at the hotel after paying for room they informed me that they had moved the booking to another of their properties that was 2 blocks away.... but when I told staff no I wanted to stay in this hotel they kept telling me it was an upgrade to a more Airbnb experience.. The queen bed room that I booked for 1 night for me and my bf was going to be moved to a 2 bedroom Airbnb. 「The check in process was smooth & our host, Shannon, was there to greet us. It’s a terrific property that made for a very peaceful & comfortable respite. The property is extremely well maintained and managed & highly recommended. Near the Strand and close to the beach. Loved it!」

「I’m shocked this has an 8/10 rating. This was probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in prior to a cruise. The front desk lady was very nice, but that’s about it for positives. From the moment we walked in it smelt off. Like a moldy mildew kind of smell. Turning the AC on made it worse. The room overall was dirtier than it should have been.
