I had a wonderful stay. This was exactly what I needed to rest and recuperate. I loved the peaceful atmosphere hearing the river all the time even in my room, I loved the great food and sweet staff, and all the beautiful artistic touches all around. À fuire

Les chambres confort, malgré ce que laissent voir les photos, ne sont pas des bungalows individuels mais mitoyens avec peu d’isolation phonique. De plus, la douche et les wc sont à l’extérieur avec vue sur les chemins d’accès de l’hôtel : on peut donc vous voir facilement. Il ne faut absolument pas laisser sa trousse de toilette dans la salle de bain car au petit matin l’évier est rempli de crasse des animaux de la nuit. La piscine semble être une déviation de la rivière donc très fraîche mais surtout pas nettoyée car les parois sont pleines de mousse verte. Les paiements en carte bancaire sont facturés 2% et tous les tarifs sont hors taxes et frais de service (y compris lessive et massage) alors que cela n’est pas indiqué Tous les jours nous avons eu des soucis : pas de monnaie le premier jour pour notre paiement, facturation d’une autre table au repas du soir, annulation de notre massage sans nous prévenir alors que nous échangions par WhatsApp mais pourtant facturé, et surtout, arnaque totale sur le taxi. Pour partir tous les chauffeurs grab demandaient 250/300k en cash pour accepter les courses. Apres plusieurs refus la réceptionniste a proposé le taxi de l’hôtel a 250k. Arrivés a notre prochaine destination le tarif était passé à 350k ! Ils Maintiennent que c’était le prix annoncé mais pourquoi aurait on accepté de payer plus alors que les chauffeurs grab demandaient moins ?! L’hôtel paraît sympathique mais est à fuire

This property is exceptional. We stayed four nights. Great attention to detail. Wonderful gardens. Beautiful accommodation. Food excellent lots of local dishes but also caters for a fussy eater. I liked that when you booked anything they had a price list. We booked massage and facial, cookery class, day trip with driver and our onward taxi to next destination with reception and all were excellent. I travelled with my two teenage daughters. It was great to be close to nature and hear all the sounds from the tropical environment, it is next to a river. The area around is so interesting offering an insight into daily life into rural Bali. I loved it. They made everything easy for you and a real joy. Thank you.

Lush green resort

Nice rooms with a beautiful bathroom and private terrace. Big swimming pool, gorgeous garden and on site massages for a reasonable price. Be aware that it’s a bit of a walk to where the restaurants are in town, but the one at Darmada is nice too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wunderschöne Anlage. Überall wächst verschiedenes Obst, welches auch gerntet wird und für das Restaurant genutzt wird. Alle Häuser sind offen gebaut - man bekommt also ordentlich Besuch von ein paar Tierchen - aber nichts schlimmes. Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Kochkurs. Einige andere Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar. Derzeit werden weitere Bungalows gebaut - daher ein wenig Baulärm - ist aber wirklich überschaubar.

Wir haben im "Standard Room" übernachtet - der ist auch unsere absolute Empfehlung für bis zu 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind - 2 große Terassen (eine sogar mit Hängematte, Outdoor-Bad mit Dschungel-Gefühl, sehr ruhig, außer Naturgeräusche und "Natur-Gäste" (z. B. Geckos, Ameisen usw.), sehr sauber und riesen-Gartenanlage, wir würden wiederkommen

Beautiful relaxing gem in the mid of nature

The hotel sits on a big island in a small river, with the main river running on the one and a small creek on the other side. The bungalows with the rooms are scattered along the creek and the facilties such as reception, restaurant and yoga shala (also to be used as guest lounge, library and massage place) are sprinkled across a big garden with lots of flowers, fish and sea rose ponds. As the resort does not have any walls (the rooms have), it feels very generous and even bigger as it is. And the pool fed with river water is beautiful. The restaurant serves good local and western food (with indonesian touch) at a very affordable price.
