"genuinely this place is awful do not stay here. stay at bali an thats nearby and cheaper. bali an is wayyy cleaner, has great amenities, space, and most of all feels safer. this place was like a dungeon. i chose this place due to its proximity to shinjuku station but its not worth it. heed my warning. stay at the bali an hotel thats nearby. its like $80/night there vs this place being $100/ a night there was a cockroach in our room, the door was not properly fitted in the doorframe and there...

"We had a lovely experience staying in Sakuya hotel. The owners were very kind and helpful, offered us shuttle van to go to town. Offered us private onsen which was very relaxing. Rooms were futon bed with a view of Mt Fuji, breakfast was so yum. Would definitely come next time. "

"It’s hard to say what the most important thing is for a hotel stay. Is it 1) the property and room, 2) the food or 3) the staff? Well, it doesn’t matter with this property cause you’re winning on all 3. Quiet location at the end of summer/beginning of autumn, room size was good, room was clean, bed was fairly comfortable, bedding was great (the best pillows of the 8 hotels I’ve stayed in Japan). "It was AMAZING! My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. "Great rooms. Great bath house. Helpful staff. Only down fall would be the prices at restairant. Resemble pit of country prices. Can find much more authetic experience for local prices wothin walking distance. The beds were pretty form but i understand thats common on asian countries."

"This, while being amazingly affordable, was very clean and well located property. The grounds were immaculate, the rooms were very well maintained, and the amenities were stocked after every cleaning. The property is located about a 5 minute walk from the Nishi-Shinjuku station on the Marunouchi line, and is near an excellent food court and wonderful park with a beautiful shrine nestled in. I plan on staying here (or one of their related properties!) on my return trip to Tokyo soon!"

"The room was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the upper floors was simply unbeatable. Even on a cloudy day, it carried a poetic charm of its own. Breakfast was both abundant and delicious—a perfect pairing with the Tokyo Skytree in sight. This was my second stay, and once again, I’m beyond satisfied—120,000% happy!"
