「Saltbush is a lovely quiet place about 2kms out of town. We just stayed in a cabin which was ok but pretty basic. Just needs towel rails in bathroom.
Having now seen inside a slab hut, I would be tempted to stay in one of those. Cabin was clean and comfy. Were glad for the extra 2 blankets on the first night as we didn't put heating on. Ron, the manager kindly picked us up from the train stn. Saltbush is walking distance to Qantas museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame which was great. ...
