"The hotel is a located inside a converted house. Everything looks very traditional, complete with low ceilings, sliding doors, mat covered floors and futons. The dorm slept four, which I though was tight, but it seems to work well enough that I slept quite well both nights. "It is a very new hostel. Bright, comfortable, modern. Owner has tastefully decorated the hostel. He speaks good English, friendly and helpful. Price is very reasonable. Best hostel that I have stayed so far."

"Excellent place to stay. The gentleman at the hostel offers pick up and drop services from Yudanaka station, Snow monkey park and some onsens in Yamanouchi. Although he speaks only Japanese, he uses a translator and tries his best to communicate with you. We will be staying here again when we come back."
