"It was a wonderful stay, a nice experience in a Japanese house. Mama and Papa are so kind and generous, very welcoming, and the place is so cosy and charming. I'd happily come back and stay here! 😊🤗 "

"Room was great with a large bathroom; much bigger overall space compared to the chain hotels in Japan. Staff were wonderful. In-room massage was incredible—definitely recommend. "
"location to train station, hot tub area, room, beds, amenities, bathrooms. More or less everything. Wish they had free breakfast. It was pricey though for per person so we ate outside. "
"
One of the most unique and memorable hotels we’ve ever stayed at. You walk around without shoes, which immediately sets a calming, authentic Japanese atmosphere. The onsen was wonderful, and the breakfast was hands down the best we’ve ever had—an incredible variety and beautifully prepared. Most importantly, the staff especially in the dining room, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay truly special. Our kids had a wonderful time. We would absolutely stay here again."
"Clean hotel. Good location. Ok free dinner and breakfast which are miles better than most Hampton Inns (if you travel to US you know what I mean). Cleanliness would be 9 compared to Hampton Inn which would be around 6 (I am generous here). I spent about 120-150 nights in hotels world wide each year so I know a little. The only downside is the small space of the rooms. Then again, you can pay 4x or more and stay in Hilton’s or Marriott (I am top tier at both). "
"Breakfast was the main highlight of this stay! I have stayed in more than 20 different hotels across Japan and this has by far been the best, in terms of quality, value, and selection. The location is also excellent, located right opposite the JR Kyoto Station, and there are convenience stores nearby if you need them at night. The free lounge coffee, tea and drinks are also welcomed. Highly recommend this place!"
