He was rude wanted to know the name of a minor child staying with me. The room rates for lone star are on the back property where long term residence stay. We did not feel stay there for we told him to cancel my stay and we went and rented another room at another hotel that was recently built, and they were much more helpful.

The ac didnt work to it full potential. The floor was sticky. The sheets and pillow cases looked stained. Other than all of that the room served the purpose for 1 night.

The staff was great. The room was clean. But the room could have used somethings. Like a coffee maker, shampoo and conditioner, and other stuff that you would expect in a hotel room. But other than that it was a great stay.

My son and I were traveling late at night after visiting with family. We had never stayed in Sherman before but needed to stop and sleep. The location of Lone Star Inn was perfect for us because we didn't have to travel far the next day. The staff was very friendly and for the price the room was just fine.

The property around inn needs a good maintenance crew on clean up. It comes with the territory of a lower level in, UT the management and workers are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are not cleaned as well as could be.
