Work in Progress is worth the Price

We were only here for the evenings, to sleep. However, the room was clean; it is obvious that there is ongoing work. There was fresh paint, new furnishings, new tile etc. I appreciate that the lobby was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would have appreciated more effort with a vacuum cleaner, it seemed that the house keeping either didn't vacuum, or just rushed it; but that is specific to me probably. Overall, I would stay again, the beds were clean and I appreciate the obvious work to update the entire facility.

The room was refurbished well except there was no way to open a window. Carpet was new, nice tv, mini fridge was nice, microwave was small and the coffee pot was singular and the were no coffee supplies, beds were new, bedding was exceptionally clean. Bathroom was newly refurbished but the floor could have been cleaner. There were nice towels and there were soaps, shampoos, conditioners and lotions. We were in the back of the motel where the train was passing even during the night.

There was very little to like here, we had a cargo trailer on the back and parking was very limited and it was in a very dimlet area where I didn't feel very safe with my vehicle was being parked. One door wouldn't open with the key they give us and the other one was propped open with a brick so anybody could get in. When we turn the shower on in the morning the water was greenish Brown from either rust or God only knows what they were burns on the carpet, fan for the bathroom had duct tape over the switch and when you turned it on it rattled like it was going to fall out of the roof. The bathtub faucet leaked. The windows were so dirty that we couldn't see out into the parking lot. Although the lady that checked me in was very friendly and did her job as well as she could. I would rate this two stars as best more than likely one, save your money go somewhere else
