「Incredible stay. The room itself was very comfortable and beautiful and very clean (absolutely clean; I found no dust, hairs, or anything like that). It feels like a place personalized for your comfort and privacy. The shower got hot enough for me, which was great. I did not need to bring anything with me in terms of soap, towel, etc. The owners contacted me ahead of time to find out whether I had any dietary concerns, which was lovely since I do (lactose, gluten-intolerance, pescatarian). 「The problem isn’t that the hotel is dated, which we expected, it’s the lack of attention to cleanliness and aesthetic touches. The hallway and lobby rugs were stained and not vacuumed. The lobby furniture is sad - would really not require a big investment to make it more appealing and comfortable. The room was relatively clean but it lacked love. It was very bare. The bathroom floor was stained. Overall with a little love, dedication and attention to detail, it could be a cosy place....
