「This hotel is in a very old Tudor style building with heaps of charm and quirkiness. This is a popular and busy pub/restaurant/hotel. Our room was on the top floor with access by stairs with high risers. The double bedroom was small with only one bedside table and no cupboards and only one stool so it is best suited to a one night stay. The room was clean and tidy with again the charm of an uneven floor which is not a problem just be aware. As the room is close to the roof it can get very warm...

「The didn't reserved the room to me even I'd fully paid & confirmed by Hotels.com. The receptist is very impolite and just asked me to go to anther hotel which need 15 min driving time.」

「I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process」

「Not as advertised at all. Main picture of brick building is in fact a pub across the canal. Heating not working so they put oil rads in two rooms. I could have stayed as usual in the Rookery for less money. This is one case where you “don’t get what you paid for” Stay away it is awful!」
