「Beautiful old pub in idyllic setting. Perfect for a quick drive into Stratford and the race course. Very warm welcome, lovely clean individual rooms retaining lots of the buildings charter. Bed was beautifully clean and we had a fantastic nights sleep. Full English breakfast freshly cooked was spot on. Great walk around the village, we will be back soon. Thank you 😊」

Room and bathroom could have been cleaner, dust all over the covered garbage bin in bathroom, huge cobweb in corner, and large peeling area on wall of bathroom. Large cobwebs at top of one window. No electrical outlet by beds, major frustration because husband uses CPAP machine to sleep. Continental breakfast was good, lots of fruit. Temperature of water hard to control in shower. No washcloths...

「From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional.
