「Owner and staff were incredibly accommodating! When we walked in, the bartender checked us in seamlessly, walked us to our room, helped us with our bags, and by the time we meandered back down to the bar, drinks were waiting for us. We opted for breakfast the next day and had the most delicious full English. The outdoor space is also incredibly comfortable and inviting. Would 100% both recommend this gem AND stay here again in a heartbeat.」

「Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked...
