「An amazing hotel. You won't expect you will stay at such an excellent place. Villa Carlotta is an elegant villa (yes, it is really a villa) with historical looking and modern accommodation. 「This is about 30 minutes outside Florence but a really cool, quiet location! It was nice to be outside of the cities and take a break from the crowds. The hotel had a ton of amenities and the staff was super nice. You would need a car if you are staying here (unless you want to pay for cabs), there is free parking though. 」

「We booked 4 rooms for a group of 8 people. The hotel is a winery inside a castle wall (with no nearby plantation) and the rooms are in well condition, spacious and fully equipped. The dinner were included and had a lot of choices and of good standard. The dinner place is a courtyard and was most enjoyable in the October weather. The captain of the restaurant Christian is most helpful. We have to give a special thank to reception staff Jonas. Our transport to the hotel was an electric rental car...
