"I ended up being put in a secondary property. It was nice enough. There was no wifi or blinds which made it difficult to sleep. I also found it very difficult to communicate with the host. They told me there was wifi and didn't respond for the next 4 days after. Apartment itself with a few touches is great and the price was reasonable to. Might have just been a misunderstanding but they wanted to charge me for an extra day which I didn't appreciate given the above."

"Host did not communicate effectively or efficiently on the check in process. They overengineered a simple letter box key pick up, demanded my WhatsApp to communicate off the Hotels.com application, and then left me sitting in the lobby for over 45 minutes on an evening arrival after a long journey. Had to ask for an apology before any was offered. When they realized, they called the receptionist, who gave me the key instructions from an unlocked letterbox. Why the over complex check in process...
