This hotel is a beautiful, classy gem sitting in an area that’s currently being renovated, with loud construction on all sides, taxis are blocked by excavators and dump trucks, the buildings across and next door are all either being torn down or will be soon. I appreciate the revitalization of this little block of itaewon, it’s just growing pains for now. The front desk staff were so helpful with excellent English. The party crowds nearby can be loud so if that bothers you, don’t stay in a party town. If you love the energy of gay bars and brunch cafes, this is a good starting point.

The presentation of the room is fine and the location is convenient. What disappointed me is that you can easily hear people walking down the tiled floored hallway or people closing the metal door as it just shuts loadly. This is especially a nuisance when others are leaving or returning to their rooms late at night and disrupt your sleep.

The decor of the hotel is really cool. Reminds me of a Stanley Kubrick movie. The location is great for getting around Seoul, and there's lots of options for food and nightlife in the area. For the price, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you for a great week in Seoul!

Property is very artsy- pop of colors everywhere and brightens the area. Rooms are the same and aside from that, rooms are spacious and clean. Only suggestion for the hotel is to maybe provide power adapters for foreign tourists like me. I enjoyed my stay!

Room was clean and design was nice with a large bathroom. However, the walls are so thin you could hear an ant sneeze in the next room. Every single footstep, clatter etc you could hear in the adjacent rooms. The hotel seems in need of some serious maintenance upkeep, the bathroom fan made this horrible grinding sound when it was turned on. Half of the TV screen was darker than the other half. The shower pressure was a drizzle, it rained harder than it outside. The hotel is also on a busy street filled with bars up a hill. Keep this in mind if you’re not a party person as the noise can be quite loud when you’re trying to sleep, if your neighbours are also being loud. Good in some ways, worse in others. I probably wouldn’t recommend staying here if it weren’t for how close it is to bus stop and train station.

The nouvelle Seoul hotel is very handy for its location, its moments away from itaewon hustle and bustle, if you’re a solo traveler or friends who are more social this place it’s great, if you’re a family or someone who wants more peace and quiet then this hotel may not be suited to you, its basic but clean, there’s a restaurant attached and a rooftop with great views of the city, I’ve stayed here before and would do so again because it serves my needs of somewhere close to nightlight, relatively good price and clean, there are other locations that some might find more appealing depending on their needs but this hotel is a decent choice if you’re looking into itaewon specifically

Our stay at Hotel Nouvelle was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and its small yet cozy atmosphere made for a comfortable stay. With numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants just steps away, there's never a dull moment. The staff is friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. Went above and beyond in helping me find my way around the neighborhood, as I don’t speak Korean. Room was very warm and with a heavy comforter it made sleeping w/o perspiration a little difficult. I would suggest a top sheet and comforter and the guest can choose which to use. I would choose the top sheet.

Itaewon is for clubbing, so expect noise and messy streets. The hotel is modern, air con with bidet and full separate shower. Bedding was really comfy. Nice to find face masks in the bar fridge. Simple English was fine with the staff. Close to convenience stores, subway and police station.
