"Even though most rooms are shared, it is very private. When I used the bathroom or kitchen there were rarely people, so it was really relaxed. Richard is also very friendly and always ready to help! If I ever come back to Seoul I would stay here again :)"

"We saved so much by staying at the Ryu Guest House instead of a Marriot or Holiday Inn. It was like apartment studio living abroad in Sinsadong, Gangnam, Seoul, SK. Everything was walking distance to Metro, Food, Groceries (CU Market), Bars (Kompact Record Bar), Coffee Houses (Milestone) and Garosugil (Trendy Area). We felt very safe as well. "Excellent stay. Clean room, albeit dated but did not deter our stay in any way. Staff was kind and spoke English. We utilized the in-room washer and dryer (bring your own pods). The room was huge. We had a separate bedroom with a queen and a twin sized bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. It’s close to both the green and olive green lines. 15 minutes by subway to lotte world. "

"The best hotel in Gangnam area ! Very luxurious with beautiful antiques decor in the lobby from 19 & 20 centuries. The residential bedroom is spacious, clean and has everything what you need for longer stay like electric stove , refrigerator, freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and The most important washer/dryer machine. Great amenities. Breakfast buffet is very delicious with a lot of variety of Korean food , eggs, soups, bakery , juices etc. it’s my first visit to Seoul and I’m happy...

"It's our second time staying at Voco Seoul Gangnam, and we absolutely love it! The location cannot be beat -- you're in Gangnam, and right across the street you can find so many different places to eat, shop, and explore. There are a lot of convenience stores nearby, and an OLIVE YOUNG right across too. It's easy to walk to the subway or to the bus stop. The Dosan Park area is a quick ride away too :) Definitely our go to place in Seoul!"

"Fantastic location in the heart of seongsu! You can walk everywhere from here. Room is basic with nice shower gel and shampoo. Kettle and mini fridge are available. I stayed for 1+2 days and appreciate the great location. "

"It's a five minute walk from Janghanpyeon metro station exit 1. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the centre and the key landmarks. I stayed in room 1713 and had a nice view of the Bukhansan national park mountains which was only 1 hour away by metro. Aircon/heating worked well and the water pressure in the shower was great too. I'd recommend. "
