"The hotel was conveniently located as the airport limousine bus stop was only a 30 second walk, the subway right in front of the entrance, and restaurants surrounding the hotel. The room was very spacious and the kids enjoyed the playroom. Best of all, the staff were friendly and helped us so much with figuring out where to eat, how to get to certain places, and simply making our stay welcomed. If you're looking for a lively neighborhood without the congested feeling of myeongdong, Novotel Dongdaemun is the place to stay."

"Pros: Generally a nice stay with clean rooms. Staff were kind and helpful. Luggage storage in the lobby was awesome because they had lockers. Cons: Pillows were a bit hard and the drain made a lot of noise (mildly disruptive while sleeping). Lots of options for breakfast but the food was a little bit more cafeteria vibes than boutique hotel vibes."

The area is so so but definitely helpful that it's so close to the subway station. A bit far from all the main attractions. Hotel being right next to the train station was a bit loud and was not helpful trying to cure my jet lag but honestly it's a great hotel for the value"
