This was an amazing resort. The employees go above and beyond for you. They remember your name and are always welcoming. We had a two bedroom two bath which was a lot of space. Appreciated the filtered water machine in the room and the coffee pods for the nespresso machine. Although the lattes at breakfast were the best on the trip. Speaking of breakfast, there were a lot of options and all very good. The guava juice was a group favorite. The plunge pool outside our room was refreshing, although some planters are due to be replaced since they are breaking. The pool can easily run out of loungers on a busy day. We did the floating breakfast which was a fun experience. All and all I would definitely stay at Kayumas again. It was down a quieter street so you didn’t get the noise from the street and they even have a golf cart to shuttle you around the area.

Beyond my expectations

I cannot say enough god things about this exceptional place in Bali. The food is great and the staff continually go out of their way to ensure your stay is exceptional. The villas are gorgeous, we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa which had ample room and comfort. Having your own pool was a great way to relax but also gave you options if you wanted to lounge by the pool in the foyer. Also the beds are soooo comfortable!!!!

We’ve had a great week staying here, both adults and kids have had a memorable experience. The 4 bedroom apartment we stayed in was exactly what we expected and we couldn’t fault anything. The staff have been fantastic and attentive to all our needs.

Good but service needs to be better

Great hotel but let down by service. Everything from checkin to checkout was painful. Staff couldn't help with arranging transport, couldn't provide change when needed and were just looking at each other to assist when any question was asked. Its a shame given how wonderful the place is. Staff really need to up their game or lose customers to other competing hotels nearby.

We originally had booked 5 nights however we only remained for 1 and checked out early. We found the photos are quite misleading especially how the hotel is layout. The pool area is tiny with few loungers for the amount of rooms and it’s located at the front of the hotel not giving you any privacy. Same for the restaurant area, to get to the rooms you walk right through the middle of the eating area again not giving you any privacy or peace to eat. During dinner and breakfast people were walking through the dining area with their suitcases to check out, house keeping rolling their trolleys and work men constantly walking past you whilst trying to eat with the heat being stifling in this area. The room is quite nice, a bit dated, and the bed was very comfy, we found the cleanliness to be lacking. In the bathroom we found clumps of black hair, the shower was rusty and the glass doors were covered in limescale. The plunge pool area was ok, we were hoping to use it on our first evening however you need to request pool towels instead of them already being in the rooms which we had to request twice over 4 hours. Upon checking out early the staff did not care to ask why we were leaving early, they only wanted to inform us that we would not get refunded. The reception staff could do with some customer service training as if it was my hotel I would want to know what could have been done to improve their experience but maybe they only care about the money.

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Stay at Kayumas Seminyak Resort Stay: Nov 11-12 & Nov 12-19 I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the numerous issues we encountered during our stay at your resort. Our experience has been far from the restful and enjoyable vacation we anticipated, significantly affecting our overall satisfaction. Since our check-in, we have faced several problems, including: 1. Air Conditioning: The air conditioning units in our rooms were broken, resulting in inadequate cooling and persistent leaks for three days. One of our rooms experienced severe leaks that flooded the floor and rug, and on the last day, the ceiling in the first-floor room leaked, soaking our belongings in the closet. 2. Pool: The pool was dirty, with visible algae growth and a slippery surface, making it unsafe to use. 3. Sinks: The sinks in all rooms were constantly clogged, draining very slowly, and emitting a foul odor. 4. Cleanliness: The closets smelled moldy, and the villa was predominantly dusty. Additionally, the toilet bowl and seat were not properly cleaned. 5. Bidet: The bidet water pressure was excessively strong, akin to a pressure washer for concrete floors, which was highly uncomfortable and impractical. On the fourth morning, we were forced to move rooms due to the flooding caused by the broken air conditioning. This inconvenience caused us to miss our scheduled tour, disrupting our travel plans significantly.

Lovely and modern, and very well maintained. Friendly staff, that could not do enough for you, always going the extra mile. Location is spot on as it’s down a nice quiet road from the centre of seminyak which is only a 10 minute walk away. The whole walk is also lit up for the dark nights.
