「Hotel du charme」

「We have a pleasant stay here. Although the room is small, the staff are friendly. It is located in a very beautiful small town. There are a lot of restuarants close by. The breakfast provided by the hotel is good. The room is clean but small. The lift s small, too. It can only allow 2 big suitcases with one small suitcase added with 2 adults in the lift. If you drive, there will be more things to see. If not, you can still enjoy staying there for shopping and sitting in a nice restaruants...

「We enjoyed our 2-night stay here very much. The hotel is located at the centre of the city, very close to the Collégiale Notre-Dame. The front door of the hotel leads to the underground lobby. The front desk staff was very friendly, warm and helpful, the check-in process was very smooth. Our room is on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator. The front desk staff was very helpful」

「This was a small, family-run hotel, and we had a wonderful stay! The rooms were comfortable and immaculate, with high ceilings. Breakfast was extra, but well-worth it, as Host Jonathan would bring to us in the dining room freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious café au lait with the hot milk, croissants, yogurt, muesli, etc. Good location to the center of Beaune, and also short walk to the train station. It was a perfect place for our Beaune visit of three nights. Merci Jonathan ! 」

「Beaune is a charming small village/town. Maison 1896 was amazing! They took care of unloading your luggage & parking your car for you. Charming bar/lounge area for an afternoon drink or pre dinner. Their restaurant 'The Slanted Door' had an excellent Asian menu and the food was so outstanding we ordered seconds of two of their main dishes. Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable and bathrooms sparkled. We had a room with a little balcony that overlooked some of the shops and a church...

「Lovely little hotel on the edge of town center. Amazingly friendly proprietor, very nice breakfast, and clean, updated room with a comfortable bed. Very easy walk into town, nice reserved parking spot behind hotel, and multiple restaurants, bars, and shops a short walk away. Would definitely stay again!」
