Ice machines were down. Otherwise, clean place , the front desk women were awesome! Professional and funny offering help with anything during the stay. Will be staying here again next time we’re in Selma.

Extremely helpful staff, we were greeted and helped immediately upon our arrival by a very polite and professional staff member. The room was very clean and neat. As we passed the front desk, headed out to grab dinner, they asked if the room was ok, and if we need anything or if they could assist us with anything else. The next morning the breakfast area was clean, neat, very organized, and the food was amazing. 10/10

Great on the basics: clean bed, hot shower, clean room. Better than average breakfast. Quiet. Good green space for walking the dog, pet waste bags provided. Old carpet made the halls and room smell musty. The pool was closed, a HUGE bummer when traveling with road-weary kids.

Coming home for my dad funeral

I had to attend my father's funeral so I reserved a room at Hampton as well as Holiday Inn in Selma, Alabama but chose to stay with Hampton because of the indoor pool and the price was a little cheaper. Over all my stay was amazingly comfortable and the staff was pleasantly nice. I gave the score of a 4 because there was a few hiccups such as the staff turned the water off to my room with no warning, however the manager explained to me what was going on and compensated me.

July 4th stay

The service was good checking in and out of the room. However, housekeeping never came to our room. We were not notified of any housekeeping policies regarding servce to our room. The breakfast on the first day of our stay was very good, but could have been better on the following days.
