「We stayed in a double room off the courtyard and it was lovely. Especially Loved the duo of local music in the bar area with Carmel Dempsey who has such a beautiful voice. Staff were very accommodating and drove us down to the Ashford Castle for a peek. Breakfast was delicious. In Cong took 'The Quiet Man' movie tour which is not to be missed! Ate dinner in Pat Cohan's bar which is featured in the John Wayne movie.」
「Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
