「Old charming manor that is one of the best in Cotswolds. Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. 「Great location and friendly staff. However the room is considerably small given the price of the room, for 2 person without luggages, we had to keep moving the furniture in order to move around. The heating in the room took a long time to heat up and the bathtub in the room did not work. 」

「The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price.」

「A very comfortable place to stay, really love all facilities and decoration. It's ancient but fashion one. The staffs are really nice and very helpful. I will love to stay there again. By the way, the breakfast and dinner are really delicious.」

「This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by! Great location! 」

「Very nice welcome and very clean room and hotel. Very quiet, had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was very expensive but it was very good quality with probably local sausages (large) nice back bacon and all the trimmings. Other cooked options were available. Would stay there again and can recommend for sure.」
