This property is lovely. Unfortunately, Seattle has become a place for many vagrants and the homeless. They loiter around the hotel. My daughter and I didn't feel comfortable leaving the hotel, especially at night. On the way back from lunch we saw a homeless man standing on the top of the steps leading down toward the water just to the right of the entrance of the hotel, he appeared to be peeing on the steps because his pants were down to his knees, I didn't confirm what he was doing, but it was broad daylight. I would expect the hotel staff to intervene and move this type of individual along, but perhaps they have no control. It's unfortunate what Seattle has become. I won't be returning any time soon. BUT if you do have to be in Seattle, the Four Seasons is the way to go.
