The owner was incredibly hospitable. It was a pleasure meeting him. His recommendations around town were excellent. We appreciated having access to bikes and umbrellas. Only issue was the 4 flights of stairs. We arrived very late.

This place is kitschy cute. The staff is available by phone at anytime 🙂 . Our room was very quiet,🤐 had 3 big windows (4th floor view of tree tops and a park), a big shower and a comfortable bed. No elevator in this old girl! The Present is close to everything in historic downtown. We didn’t have a car and walked (or Uber)everywhere. I would stay here again.

The Present is a neighborhood boutique hotel, each room is unique in style and decor. First floor rooms and those reached only by steps are an option. Wonderful coffee service area on the second floor. In an historic building so it has those touches, clawfoot tubs, wonderfully creaky floors and large windows. The management is very responsive for any any concerns. Walkable to many restaurants and squares around Savannah.
