The Hotel Ojibway, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
6/10 Okay
"Dated, of course, but minimal effort at upgrading. Only one staff present, so service delayed. She was friendly. Great location. On site parking. Breakfast was packaged pastries and drinks."
"First the positives: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the towels and water pressure were fantastic, the staff was courteous!
Middle land: the breakfast was ok, the stairs as the means to the second floor might not be for everyone.
Last the downfalls: there was no body wash in the container in the shower, a lightbulb was burned out in the sidelight by the bed and the parking lot was rough.
In the end it was worth the amount paid and would probably do it again."
"I could tell that the owners care about the property! The room was renovated with comfortable beds and well-maintained grounds. Breakfast items were abundant and diverse, the best complimentary breakfast that I've had in a long time! Would definitely stay again, what a great deal!"
"Walking in we were greeted by the sweetest lady named PAT - She helped us get in our room early so we could go see our children perform at LSSU! Not only this but when the kids were done performing they opened the conference room for the kids to be able to eat a late late dinner together! Thank for you hosting our children and Us!"
"The window in my room had blinds built into the glass, but none of them worked and there were no other blinds to compensate. The first night I was there the light over the bathroom sink did not work, though it was fixed the next night and nothing was said. The coffee for the breakfast bar/lobby was absolutely the worst. I don't think it was really coffee. The second day the coffee urn put out hot slightly brown water. I didn't even try to taste it. Food items would run out and no one checked to replace it."
