"While the place on the surface looks nice, the Captains Cottage was situated near service entrance which made early mornings noisy with trucks and drop offs and also near the bins. In addition the wifi was pretty much non existence and staff was not very helpful when we brought it up. Finally the place was a little damp - smelling a little mouldy especially near the kitchen/fridge area."

It would seem that most rooms have been renovated and the rest are going to be done, Gret to see the new owners retaining the bones of this beautiful old motel while refurbishing it tastefully"

"Need to focus on cleanliness, lots of cob webs hanging inside the room, buttom of the toilet pan is very dirty ,neighbours are making loud noise during 1:30 am otherwise it was okay."

"Beach view was obstructed, cabin had not been renovated, no seperate seating area, no dishwasher, no oven or barbecue and we had to wash amything that we wanted to use in the kitchen because everything was dirty or oily."
