Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The room was clean and staff was pleasant. I reserved a room with 2 double beds. I received a room with a double and a single rollaway. Neither bed was very comfortable. They were very firm. I showered at 9 am each morning and never had hot water. This is the first hotel I have stayed at in years that didn't have a coffee maker in the room.
The staff were remarkable and very friendly. The taxi drivers gave good security advises and answered patiently any question of first time visitors. Breakfast was absolutely All in all: as it should be for a joyful visit in Sao Paulo.
This is a decent hotel and I would rate it a solid 3 stars. I had booked 2 stays here for this month but cancelled the second booking and shifted to another hotel. Here are the reasons I cancelled the second booking:
1. The location is convenient if you need to be in the area, otherwise there is nothing around including limited restaurants.
2. I ordered room service once. The quality was not the best and the toasted bread was soggy.
3. There is no coffee or tea in the room which I would expect from a true 4 star.
4. There are no towels in the gym which I would expect from a 4 star.
5. The amenities in the bathroom are very basic with no hand lotion even. Again, 3 star at best.
Other than that it is a clean and functional hotel. I would stay there if I had an event right in the area but not for any other reason.
Excellent stay with excellent attentive staff. Room service was great as well. Our bathroom had some faint toilet smell and the lock was broken. There's nothing around at night, so getting food and water becomes difficult. We had to depend on the room service and tiny minibar water cups. Breakfast was ok, but limited and the same every day.
