We stayed in São Paulo for a few days on our way to our Africa trip. We picked São Paulo to experience Brazilian culture. And Cozzy Suites Paraiso was most definitely in the best location for it. Close to and easy access to local shops, restaurants, groceries and tourist sites. Many within easy walking distance. Absolutely loved people watching locals going about their daily lives, taking lunch breaks from work or school and doing things after the work day. The hotel is immaculately clean everywhere including our room (loft suite), the AC’s were more-than-adequate to keep us comfy, the bed was wonderfully cozy and comfortable (slept like a baby both nights), and the bathroom facility was quite small but adequate for the two of us. But most commendable of all are the staff. Even though some of them didn’t speak English comfortably, they were all incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating. Our flight from Canada came in quite early in the morning. And they were kind enough to let us check in early. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting São Paulo.

This hotel is not for business travelers! There are no safes in the room. So, there is no where to keep your valuables. I had to lug all my valuables around for security purposes. Therefor this is NOT A 4 START HOTEL. 3.5 at most. The manager was very nice, but Tyler in the front office is passive/aggressive and is dishonest. Horrible combination of character traits for anyone doing customer service. The only thing good about this place was the price, but it is not worth it. Boo... Bad form...
