I recommend it for a relaxing holiday, where everything is within easy reach. The apartment is very clean and spacious, with a terrace where you can enjoy meals in complete tranquility. The common area with a very welcoming pool is also lovely. The staff is friendly and very attentive to detail. We had a wonderful time!

Wow – what an incredible place! Staying at Joy Hotel felt like coming home to family. From the moment we arrived, Kostas gave us the warmest welcome, instantly putting us — and the kids — at ease. Our room was by far the biggest and best of our Santorini stay, with all the amenities we needed and a beautiful view of the pool, sunbeds, and deck area. The cold bottle of water in the fridge — a thoughtful touch from Kostas and team was a lifesaver in the summer heat! Right outside is the stunning black sand beach, our favorite on the island, with JoJo’s Bar just steps away, offering great cocktails and lively vibes. The area is full of stylish beachside cafes and restaurants, perfect for long walks along Perivolos Beach. We had a delicious meal at Coralli next door, where we were warmly welcomed and even given free sunbeds on the beach — a lovely perk thanks to Kostas’s great local connections. Best of all, we caught the breathtaking Santorini sunrise, an unforgettable moment made even more special by staying here. Kostas truly went above and beyond — he made our stay unforgettable and is a real asset to the hotel. Credit should also go to Anna for her warm and friendly service. For us and the kids, this was the highlight of our Santorini trip. Thank you!

Loving Santorini!!

Perivolos was an amazing town for my vacation and Joy Beach is just across the street and I could see the sea from my balcony. JoJo's, the adjacent hotel has a full service bar and restaurant with great food (Bream was excellent). Areti was so sweet, warm and accommodating - loved her!

Located a quick 2 minute walk to the beach, however you have paid or eat a restaurant to secure a location on the beach. The property needs some TLC, Property maintenance is lacking, lot of discarded items are visible. BTW, you cannot flush toilet paper at this property and have to discard in the waste basket. Pool was decent and lot of dining options. The staff is kind and will arrange tours and shuttle to the airport if needed. We walked to a bakery and restaurants away from the main areas, food was much better and less expensive. Great location but would look at other options next time we visit.

The management of this hotel are scammer the post pictures for different properties as belong to them which is not the wrote they have breakfast and laundry and they don't have also there’s not hot water to take shower only the regular water temperature.bad bad experience never ever go back again it was night mare for us.

I specifically booked a room with two double beds, as I was travelling with a friend, (and I selected that style of room from the room options listed at the Joy Beach Hotel on the Expedia app/website). When we arrived there was only one bed in the room. No one from the hotel responded to my messages and I went to reception twice during the open hours posted but no one was there. My request for two beds went ignored by the hotel and the receptionist, although nice, kept making excuses as if it was my fault and not the hotel’s. We had to make up the couch with sheets ourselves and it was the most uncomfortable option for a second ‘bed’ you could possibly imagine. The communication continued to remain almost nonexistent and my requests for a different room or refund (as emailed by Expedia as per my request) went completely ignored. When the hotel finally contacted me it was to blame me for the issues and claim I didn’t try to contact them. The facilities overall were average, we rarely had hot water, and there was a dirty broken jacuzzi tub on our balcony. Will definitely not return and do not recommend. Extremely disappointed.

Sorry but can't recommend.

To be fair our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I love having a kettle that works and a selection of tea bags. It was a very welcome and nice addition that there was a bottle of cold mineral water in the room fridge. The hotel email communication was not welcoming but extremely quick to respond and efficient. It was very efficient that my email request that two single beds would be ideal was efficiently organised. Because it has happened to us on a couple of occasions that, when making a booking, we have clicked on "Two Singles" and arrived to find a double. On the negative side, the hotel receptionist seemed unable to disguise her ire that as we were arriving in the middle of the night - due to ferries - without using the hotel's transport service. But, we had a problem that we had to take another traveler to the airport and we didn't think that the hotel transport service would take other people to other destinations. So we had to ring a number to alert the receptionist that we had arrived and that was not very comforting because one never knows if phone numbers are going to work or not, especially with international phones. There needs to be a way to contact reception at the hotel without a phone number. We thought we might have to sleep on a sunbed if the worst came to the worst. Granted we were not the ideal guests arriving in the middle of the night on our own, but stuff happens and we got a rude and cold welcome.

01/08/2023 abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti in questa hotel Santorini la struttura si trova in un a 30metri dal mare di Perissa ottima posizione le camere le chiamano suite ma sono delle semplici camere grandi ci vuole una bella restaurazione mobili vecchi, bagni no con un po’ di ruggine sui rubinetti e sul doccino, e la pulizia su tutta la stanza un po’ sporca.

The manager, vassilis was amazing. He arranged transportation for us to and from our hotel. He was friendly and helpful. He talked to us about the area and remembered my daughter’s birthday. The place is amazing being on the beach and close to the bus stop to go sightseeing.

The place itself is not falling apart or anything, but it sure needs a bucket of paint and probably more than that. With that said and out of the way, we wanna say that the staff is super nice and extremely helpful, especially Vasilis, the host/manager! He will help you with anything from car rental, port/airport transfer, recommend places for you to see and proper Greek tavernas and restaurants to eat at. His english is excellent and he's easy to talk to. Fantastic guy!!!! By far he is the best to say about Joy Beach Hotel...

Extended our stay because we loved it so much!

We have originally booked 5 nights at Joy Beach Hotel, however ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much! Christos has been extremely helpful and accommodating in making sure we were settled and we could not thank him enough for making our stay at the hotel. His recommendations for activities on the island in particular (that he even set up for us) were amazing. The hotel is small and lovely, it has a great location, few steps away from a beach, beach bar and plenty of restaurants. Our room was extremely spacious with a sea-view terrace. This hotel is an absolute gem and we will definitely return!

Great location, comfortable bed

We only stayed in this location for one evening but it was a great choice for our last night in Santorini. It is located just a block from the black sands beach, 24/7 pool, healthy breakfast, and very close to lots of restaurants and bars on the beach. Everyone in Santorini is so friendly and accommodating, especially at this hotel.
