Lovely hotel - highly recommend

Lovely hotel in a very nice area situated between Oia and Fira. Views were incredible, staff were super friendly and helpful! Daily room service breakfast was a nice touch. Junior suite with hot-tub and caldera view was on the smaller side, would advise choosing a larger room if staying more than a few nights. Few minor points that would have enhanced our comfort - more clothes hangers in the room for longer stays (only 4/5 available) and pool towels in need of replacement (loose threads, bleach stains etc).

There are no words to describe the excellence of this property from A-Z! Staff, location, cleanliness, view-everything was out of this world!! Would go back 100% no doubt every time if I were to be back in Santorini. The staff was the most attentive I have every had, the views left us speechess, and we could get to everything with reasonable ease.

This is an excellent property with perfect views of the Caldera & the famous Santorini sunset. The breakfast was served in front of each suit daily with very hospitable staff. We can not wait to visit this facility again in the near future.

We had a great stay in this hotel, views are stunning, can see sunset clearly from hotel. Walking distance to many nice restaurants. Staff were all very good, cleopatra checked every day if we needed anything and would book any transfers or restaurants for us. Would highly recommend.

We just couldn’t fault this gorgeous little hotel. Absolutely perfect location. Plenty of lovely bars and restaurants very close by. Away from the busy crowds but not too far to walk into Fira if you want to. The staff just could not do enough for us. Although the pool is quite small, we never had any problems getting a sun bed when we wanted to. In fairness most of the hotels swimming pools are smallish anyway. We have to give it 10/10 👌

The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure that the guest felt as they had everything they needed. I recommend taking the shuttle service provided by the hotel because it will save you money during your stay rather than a private taxi. I love the view. The hike to Skaros Rock was super convenient at the hotels property. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan on was the older amenities inside. Fairly older rooms with an old TV that had about 30 satellite channels. Overall amazing stay

Our view of the caldera was amazing! The staff was very warm and welcoming. You definitely need a rental car to stay in this area. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel at first but it’s how the island is built. Overall, we will be returning. :)

We stayed 5 days at iliovasilema. The view was amazing. Cleopatra in particular and the rest of the staff were very friendly to the guests. It was not overcrowded. Rooms where cleaned every day. Breakfast was delivered every day to our room. If u want to enjoy ur vacation in santorini u definitely should choose for iliovasilema hotel and suites in imerovigli.

Amazing hotel with a breathtaking view. The staff is so kind and thoughful, special thanks to Kleopatra who speaks perfectly French. Breakfast was served every morning on your front porch with views to the caldera. We stayed in the Suite with private pool which was the perfect way to see the Ηλιοβασίλεμα every evening. The area around the hotel was quiet with no noises, except for a special firework on the rock just in front of the hotel which was amazing to see from the pool. We will be returning!

Great service the hotel staff is amazing! Friendly, very knowledgeable about the island and the history of the island, great recommendations for food and activities, and most of all they tried to accommodate us with all our needs! The hotel in general is extremely clean. The room was spotless!!! No complaints for nothing. The drinks and the food was great! We had dinner at the hotel with the amazing view of the caldera and the amazing sunset of Santorini! I recommend iliovasilema to everyone!

Hotel's location and service by the staff are fantastic. Breathtaking views right from your room. Food was ok, and the dishes that food were served were dirty most of the time. Quality of breakfast served was mediocre. However, I must mention one mishap during our check-in, which the hotel did not deal very professionally. I booked the honeymoon suite for 4 nights for over 1700 Euros (they claim it was a good sale price!!!). However, we are a family of 3 (a child 5 years old), and I did not realize that the room rate is for 2 people (which was written in very small fonts at the bottom of the hotel description on hotels.com). Being a Gold member of hotels.com and having VIP Access, when we arrived with our daughter, the hotel demanded 80 Euros per night extra for her. At 99% hotels, a child who is 5 years old stays for free and eats for free. After much much negotiating and argument with logic, they still charged us 60 Euros per night for her. And they didn't let us check in until we paid that. It was late at night, and we arrived there after a long flight. But they kept us waiting for 30+ minutes, until I paid that extra 240 Euros. I had prepaid that full amount of 1700 Euros or so in advance for the room. The honeymoon suite is the biggest of their rooms and can easily fit even 4 adults. They did not show any consideration, instead they indirectly threatened to cancel our reservation with zero refund. I am a frequent traveler across EU and this is the first in my life.
