Excellent Stay – Highly Recommend! One of the highlights of the stay was the magnificent sunset view absolutely breathtaking and the perfect way to end each day. Maria was fantastic. L’endroit était merveilleux avec une vue splendide sur la mer et les îles, coucher de soleil juste en face, magnifique! La villa est très propre, simple mais bien aménagée, les lits sont confortables, super piscine vue sur mer, des belles vues partout autour. Ma femme et moi sommes restés une semaine et nous avons beaucoup aimé! On recommande!

Fabulous place with amazing views. The additional extras like daily cleaning and quality bathroom complimentary bottles/illy coffee pods topped up daily, loads of towels for the bathroom and poolside, bathrobes and slippers etc. all lift this property above typical self catering villas. Only negatives would be the very steep steps to the mezzanine bedroom, low balustrade to mezzanine the heat being hard to control up there at night (without freezing the downstairs with aircon on full blast). I would go back again & was overall really impressed with the villa and pool. Best to hire a car. Special thanks to the lovely cleaner.

I made some booking errors for my holiday and unfortunately Ananda Retreat was not accommodating in helping me. As a result of the financial burden of my booking errors I was not able to afford taxi's (car travel is the only option when you are disabled) and so I was not able to visit a somewhere important to me, I was also not able to go to any restaurants and had limited food with me. All in all my experience was not positive, the stress had a negative impact on my health during my stay so I was not fully able to appreciate the beautiful views at the property. There is no privacy around the pool or the patio areas. It is not sound proof, I was awoken by the pool cleaning equipment. There are lights that do not turn off and windows that cannot be covered. The ladder to the mezzanine sleeping area is not safe - the steps are tilted. While the kitchen is clean and equipped you cannot use both pans on the hob at the same time. I found a huge cockroach within the property. It's basically an air b and b but with less help if something goes wrong. Staying there ended up being upsetting and disappointing.

The house has a phenomenal view and great outdoor space. The unit we had was a bit small for 4 people, but otherwise no issues. Owner was responsive and unit was as expected.

So SO happy with our stay, thank you Maria!

Absolutely stunning villa, everything was immaculate and really well appointed. so peaceful and quiet. We loved the location, just a 2min drive from gorgeous cafes, shops and restaurants in Pyrgos (our favourite part of the island), and the winery next door was fabulous! Perfect for our first family holiday with our 1yr old! We could not be more thankful to our amazing hostess Maria, every recommendation was fantastic, she helped us out with laundry and printing, and was just fantastic from start to finish. All the privacy of a villa, with the benefit of a discrete, knowledgeable concierge you would find in a resort. We would love to hire all 3 villas one day for a group holiday!!

Let me start by saying that I did not want to leave this place! The villa is located in Megalochori, which is 10 min from Fira and 30 min from Oia. People pay to go wine tasting in winery next to the villa just for the amazing view. This place has the most magnificent view. I usually dont leave reviews but I had to. Alex, the property manager was super helpful and available at all times. All recommendations for restaurants and places to go to were really good. After staying in this villa and would never try to stay anywhere else!

Spectacular View and Service

The view of the caldera is breathtaking. The location is convenient to Fira and Oia but also far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the island. We recommend renting a car to truly get a local flavor and enjoy the less crowded areas of Santorini. The service was also phenomenal from our initial email communications with Katerina to our assistance by Mr. Sotiris the service was outstanding. Mr. Sotiris helped with transportation to and from the port, provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, helped with our car rental upon our arrival, assisted us in a catamaran cruise around the island and went above and beyond in helping us find a lost cell phone literally minutes before our ferry departed. Our family highly recommends Ananda Retreat.
