"This is a beautiful well maintained place to stay . We loved the comfy bed and great pillows too . There was no fridge in our room but right outside is a well stocked fridge of drinks available for purchase on honour system . We were on the top floor which had a spacious terrace with view. Pool was warm and clean . Breakfast was full of fresh local fruits , preserves , cheeses and eggs to order. Loved the coffee and fresh rolls too . But the staff are the standouts of this place . "My family had a great time, and staff was so helpful! I have stayed here before and love it and was glad my family had the same experience. I would not stay anywhere else honestly, close to everything in a safe area, quiet and always clean. Background on me, I live in the states but i am Cape Verdean :) highly recommend!"

"Good bank for the book. There was a steel smell in the hallway in the bedroom when we walked in. The building is old but for the price, it was reasonable. Breakfast was very poor. Selection could improve. I probably wouldn’t stay there again, but if you’re staying in the downtown area, not such a bad selection."
