"The woman at the front desk greeting me was so gracious and accommodating. I told her I was in town for a triathlon and gave me two options for a quiet room. An extra duvet was brought later quickly and graciously. Another room was some idiot guys who had no evening manners but that’s not the front desk’s problem. Boys need to learn how to be gracious, also—Even when no one is watching them. Shout out to the good moms out there who let their boys know to be a man you keep your voice down."

"Nice enough motel in eastside Santa Cruz. Very friendly and helpful staff, got me switched to a studio suite from the room I'd booked, for a slight upcharge. There is a block of rooms that sit in the middle of the property, but I preferred to have a room in the main L-shaped block with parking spaces and small sitting areas in front, (However, those smaller rooms in the block are a bit less expensive.) Be aware that other than a coffeemaker, the kitchen units do not have ANY cookware, utensils, plates, etc. so if you intend to prepare food in the kitchen, you'll need to bring all your own supplies. Despite being on a busy 4-lane road (Soquel Ave.) it was nice and quiet at night. Given how pricey even the most basic accommodation in Santa Cruz can be (especially on a weekend), this tidy place offers decent value."

"This is definitely all about the property itself. The rooms are just okay, and we did have requests that had to be made a couple of times before actually receiving the services. Not too sure I would stay here again however I would absolutely love to check out the spa and the services they offer. The property is beautiful and tucked away. That is what we wanted so that met our needs nicely."
