Room was clean and updated. Service was great. I only stayed one night to attend a local music event. Not a place I'd bring a lady but fir a guy, no sweat. The surrounding area us a bit sketchy after dark. My stay was fine.

The location was great. The price was kinda high considering the rooms and amenities. The pictures definitely over sold the room. It seems as if they’re renovating slowly and in a shoty fashion. We found better rooms for cheaper after our first night.

First and foremost the cleaning staff (Ladies) were very nice and polite. Parking on the other hand was very limited and ppl were double parked. I know it's out of their control, but ppl were very inconsiderate being noisy at night, along with the issues of the homeless being on grounds.

Dogs in other rooms barking nonstop, can hear everything from nextdoor rooms. Stains on bedding, cleaning products left in bathroom. Large hole in bathroom wall to outside covered with piece of wood. Staff was extremely nice, check in and check out super easy.

Better than expected

Much better than expected. Nice large walk-in shower and new bathroom. Clean remodel done with quality. Comfortable mattress larger of mini refrigerator with separate freezer. Beside the narrow layout of the structure n parking lot of an old school motel extra parking in the rear.

They charged a refundable deposit, which Expedia did not mention at time of booking. Exterior was old, area was questionable such that it appeared there were unhoused ppl staying there. 2 SC Police officers arrived at some point and were speaking to other motel guests. Room was TINY. Bed was comfortable, but sheets and towels looked dirty/dingy. Would not stay here again.

Ocean Lodge a sweet deal.

Cannot beat the price here. Close to everything. Lots of nearby restaurants. Room could use a small fridge. Stayed three nights.

Stayed for a wedding

Not the best area but a clean hotel room with a microwave and mini fridge. The shower is large which is nice. I wish they had shampoo and conditioner. One of the bath towels was stained but overall for one night not bad at all.
