A lovely location and nice property. Comfortable bed and lots of streaming services offered without charge excellent hospitality by staff. The only glitch was the shower… I felt like I was fighting with the register throughout the shower as it kept going from hot to cold.

I LOVED our stay at the Hummingbird Inn! The staff were so friendly and gave us awesome recommendations. The pool was great and the lobby was adorable. Rooms were also so cozy! I have nothing bad to say, we had the best experience!

Loved the lobby with the big plants and comfortable sofa. Enjoyed coffee by the fireplace. Front desk was friendly and informed us at check in to just let them know if we need anything and at check out asked us if we enjoyed our stay and to have a safe trip.

I'm giving this property and our stay 4 stars (****). Here's why... The inn itself is adorable, clean and quiet. Close to "downtown" and the Arcade, but just far enough away. A bit pricey from a value perspective, but a nice stay overall. What I wasn't a fan of was the daily charge of $40 for our small dog. Seems a bit much. The other was the the prominent display of over-priced merch in the great room off the lobby, and the gouge-priced stuff in the room itself. Seemed more at home in a Hilton or Hyatt than a nice quiet inn. Overall - I recommend the Hummingbird Inn, with minor caveats.

Easy location. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Walkable or you can borrow bikes from motel. Nice pool area with comfortable lounge chairs and cool fire pit. Lots of tables/chairs around property to sit and enjoy your surroundings. Modern rooms, and cute lobby with fabulous lounge area. Nice coffee and tea selection in the morning. 5 min drive to great hiking spot to see the pink mountains at sunset (can view from hotel, but unobstructed spectacular from this hiking path on Shelf Road).

Clean Room. Very clean. Easy Parking. Extremely nice front desk staff. Adorable decor. Cons: hard, hard bed, the room had one hard wicker chair, they really need to invest in some loveseats or armchairs that are comfortable. You can't watch TV or sit around, because there are no chairs and the bed is a rock. Housekeeping skipped us even though I asked the housekeeper in person and told he we were leaving.

Basically an updated motel. AC was fine. Pool is nice. Sound proofing not great so our dog reacted to every bit of noise. My main complaint was the lack of any comfortable chairs in the room, low lighting that was attractive but poor for reading and low water pressure.
