Lovely stay. My husband and I stayed for a little getaway, but we would love to go back with the kids. It’s a short walk to the beach, MOXI, train station and great food. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Love this place! It’s been remodeled and family owned and dog friendly for well behaved pups. We loved the full fridge and microwave option but it’s so close to the ocean and all the restaurants. Great place to stay!! Fantastic and knowledgeable service as well!

What a wonderful experience staying at the Franciscan. Ben welcomed us on a Saturday everning, as we drove in from being in Solvang, all day. He was welcoming, so informative with things we could do in Santa Barbara and gave us all the details that would make our stay even better. The morning breakfast was the cherry on top. Absolutely staying here again and recommended- highly.

Staff is amazing! Very professional and very kind. Ben at the front desk is outstanding and very knowledgeable for tourism and places to see around SB. Most pools at Hotels are not heated. Decent price for the location, not a lot of frills or thrills just a clean room and comfortable beds. Very simple rooms with not a lot of furniture or extras. Location is ideal to walk everywhere near the shops and harbor and pier. They should add that their pool is heated because we would have brought Boardshorts had it been advertised.
