"Excellent location in Gion and very convenient for exploring Kyoto. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the room was spacious compared with many hotels in Japan. Staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. We especially liked being able to walk easily to Gion, Pontocho and many restaurants and attractions nearby. The sauna was also a great bonus — my kids absolutely loved it and it made the stay even more enjoyable for the whole family. Overall, a very comfortable stay and I would happily stay here again when visiting Kyoto."
