"We were able to check in early and extend an hour later at checkout. Cleaning staff checked our room everyday and brought fresh towels etc. The pool was nice temperature and had plenty of chairs plus the Tiki bar close by. We were able to do our water aerobics routine every day. All staff we encountered were very friendly and courteous. Nice location on the Island and good beach access with lounge chairs available there as well. The only thing I would change is that I think the items in the market cafe should have prices marked."

"Ongoing construction in the complex next door was only negative. It has to be done for the island to fully recover, so I was okay with it."

It would have been even better if greater attention had been given to environmental sustainability—for example, providing recycling options in the rooms and avoiding plastic straws, cups, and cutlery at the pool restaurant. Sanibel Island is a beautiful and fragile environment that deserves to be protected."

"Our stay at Seahorse Cottages was absolutely perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The bed had high quality sheets and the mattress was very comfortable. The grounds around the cottages were attractive and well kept. We loved having two porches as options for spending time outside. One was sunny and one was shady. The pool was adorable and had plenty of seating options. It was nice to come back from the beach and lounge by the pool. The beach was within walking distance and my husband and I enjoyed walking to the lighthouse from the closest beach access. If you didn’t want to walk, the Seahorse Cottages provided great bikes to use. There are two good eating establishments close to the cottages. One is within easy walking distance. The big bonus was the ice cream shop also within walking distance. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Seahorse Cottages and I really hope we will be returning in the future! "

"We enjoyed a superb week! Staff was extremely helpful, our room was clean and quiet. The inn provided beach chairs, towels, and carts for the 10 minute walk to the beach, even a shell cleaning station. Plenty of bikes for guests to use. Excellent dining and ice cream shop available across the street. We can't wait to go again next year!!"
