"This was the best little gem and surprise of our trip! We ended up booking Camp Deforest on our honeymoon after another hotel experience had us searching last minute for an alternative. It honestly worked out for the best! I can’t wait to go back to Camp! Everything about it is amazing. From the cozy cabin and the fire pits to the amazing staff and hospitality. Every detail was clearly thought through and then they added a little more. As a graphic designer, I swooned over the thought and detail around the whole place. Even took home some cute souvenirs that make us smile every time we remember our visit. We highly recommend for a romantic mini cabin getaway or a family adventure! Wish we lived closer so make a regular thing. "

"Very clean rooms. We had room 106 with a reclining rocker and 2 more comfortable chairs and a table. Microwave and fridge. Extremely comfortable bed. Toilet/bath very tight. Only drawback is that its carpeted. Breakfast was a grab and go. It was very good. You also had on the side hard boiled eggs, nuts and cheese combo packs, oatmeal, apples, yogurt. In your bag were juice, danish, chewy bar and protein bar. Coffee and tea available 24 hours. Well located off I95 and very close to Dunkin donuts. If hauling a camper or trailer a great place to stop because of tbe huge easy turnaround parking."

"Booked a stay to celebrate my wife and I getting married - we booked an executive suite at what we thought was a nice little hotel outside Bangor, Maine. I even called on 3/18 to confirm we would be able to bring our dog, as it was unclear online whether the room was pet friendly or not. I was told it was - but when I called to confirm our check-in time the day of our stay, I was notified that was actually not the case. We were downgraded to a standard room, as those were the only pet friendly ones at the hotel - which, I also have to say, itself is pretty poorly advertised, as it is nothing more than a dingy hotel by the highway. We could not sleep because the highway was so loud, and we could not enjoy ourselves because our room (and the entire hotel) smelled like sewage. Not only that, but even though I spoke to MULTIPLE people about our stay and the significance, nobody even bothered to say "congratulations" to us. Not one; not the manager who basically accused me of lying to him on the phone, not the curt front desk person who checked us in, nor the wonderfully nice woman who checked us out. I will never, ever recommend anyone stay at this hotel, I cannot even begin to express how disappointed I am in how what was supposed to be a wonderful celebration of us getting married, turned into an experience I'd sooner forget."

"Weed store across the street plays music LOUD outside until closing time. If you’re anywhere near the front of the hotel at check in ask to have your room moved."
